2020 PONY Icebreaker Clinic Sunday January 26th Harbor High School Baseball Field. All players - new and returning - are encouraged to attend.
This year's clinic is a major step up from past years. We'll have training stations for all aspects of the game - fielding, batting, base running, pitching, and a catchers training. 3 Varsity coaches including Head Coach Joseph Allegri of Harbor High and players from the JV team will be on hand. Santa Cruz Seals coach Buddy Carrigan and last year’s Manager of the 14U PONY All-Star Regional Championship team Ben Hartel will provide training as well. Player Agent Addam Stark and 2020 Team Managers will be available for questions from parents.
Catchers should bring their gear if they have it, otherwise we'll have gear on hand for those who want to try the position. All players should bring the USA stamped bat that they plan on using during the season.
Metal cleats are allowed at Harbor however, they have a NO SEEDS & NO PEANUTS policy. Make sure to bring water and a snack.
The field is artificial turf so unless there is heavy rain the clinic is rain or shine.
To conclude we will have some of the best of the local baseball talent on hand. It is our mission to create a program where players can succeed in baseball and acquire successful team and leadership skills.
We hope to see you all there!
